The museum is open to the public from April through December on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Appointments are available upon request.
Update on Parking (As of June 29, 2019)
Parking is now across the street, next to the Grange on the Mill Street side (by the horse stalls). We are exploring other options for visitor parking. The driveway next to the museum is private property and not for museum use.
I wrote to you before asking if the digitization of the photo collection. I am still interested in volunteering. Is there someone there on Saturdays in March I can talk to?

Hi Maria, the schoolhouse will be reopening for the season at some point in March, I’ll let you know when we have a definite date.
I used to have a small booklet from you In it was an old photo of the inside of a cabin . A handful of people standing in front of a stone fireplace along with a man at a piano. The story behind it was this. Before it became a girl scout camp, it used to be a r&r camp for WW 2 british naval officers. It was near the Taconic Pkwy. north of Peekskill Hollow Rd. I can find no info.on it but there are camp ruins, stone fireplaces and the remains of an old paino. The story is so odd but the remains are still there to see. I may have even found the stone fireplace from the photo. If I could see the photo I could compare the stonework and identify it.
